Judith Fox’s book I Still Do has been selected one of the ten best books of 2009 by Photo-eye Magazine. Photo-eye is the world's foremost online photography bookstore. Additionally, Judith will speaking at the annual ADI conference in Greece (Alzheimer's Disease International) as well as other international medical conferences. She will be traveling throughout Europe in the coming year and Pfizer will be holding events for her in major capital cities. I Still Do has had a second printing.
Pamela Godwin served on a panel in November with at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business entitled: Managing Crisis in Emerging Companies. She was asked by Drexel’s Center of Corporate Governance to represent the Corporate Governance point of view during the panel presentation and discussion. (The other panel members were Mike Hagan, Chair of NutriSystems, Mark Baiada President and Founder of Bayada Nurses, and Jessica Sharp, Principal of Maven Communications.) That month she also served on a panel entitled Women on Corporate Boards for the event POWER Philadelphia 2009. (The other panel members were Vicki Kramer, Principal, V. This represents a great outcome for their investors, customers, and employees, and for Oracle. Barbara has agreed to stay to help in the transition through June and then will move on to new adventures!

Maryann Bruce reports that media interest is picking up regarding Brace for Impact, a new book, that shares the inspiring stories of life after the "Miracle on the Hudson" and comes out in early next year. Maryann’s story is chapter #12. Additionally, the December 28thissue of In Touch magazine includes an article on entitled "One year later, Sully's miracle survivors say our lives are richer" featuring five passengers including Maryann. Maryann is also tentatively scheduled to be a guest on the TV show Good Day New York on Friday, January 15, 2010 - the one year anniversary of the crash.
